Irene M. Lee MD

graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley College in 1999 and received her Doctor of Medicine from New York University in 2004 as member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her internship Mount Auburn Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, in 2005 and her residency at Boston Medical Center in 2008. Before joining Advance Eye Centers in 2011, Dr. Lee served as the Associate Director of Ophthalmology at Gouverneur Healthcare in New York City as well as a Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology at New York University. In addition, she was an Associate Adjunct Surgeon at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Lee is Fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Lee resides in Providence, RI with her husband.
